Juleon Rabbani, DrPH, MPH is the Director of the Biostatistical Consulting Unit (BSCU) and a Research Scientist in Biostatistics within the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research (DOR) in Northern California. Since 2023, he has directed a research portfolio exceeding $16 million, leading a team of more than 30 biostatisticians, analysts, and program staff.
His team supports 400+ active clinical research projects and generates over 150 peer-reviewed publications and presentations each year — work that advances Kaiser Permanente's learning health system, supports GME accreditation, strengthens community health commitments, and builds evidence across clinical specialties. He serves as a member of the Kaiser Permanente Research Northern California (KPRNC) Executive Council.
As a principal and co-investigator, Dr. Rabbani has led institutionally funded studies spanning women's health, emergency medicine, psychiatry, ophthalmology, cancer epidemiology, advance care planning, and population health. He completed his public health training with the U.S. Department of Defense and Public Health Service in Bethesda, MD, and previously directed research activities for multiple physician training programs at the Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center, including founding the KP Public Health Research Internship Program in 2017.
